Picking at Norrie Lake Berries

Picking at Norrie Lake Berries

Charles and Louise Fischer opened Norrie Lake Berries LLC in 2016. Having both grown up on small dairy farms in Marathon County, this acreage was passed down from the family farm in 1985.  They have been growing fruits and vegetables for their family ever since, beginning with a small apple orchard.  Anticipating retirement, Charles started planting raspberries in 2012.  Today they are growing grapes, blackberries, blueberries, aronia berries, and adding more every year!  Their love for growing berries is reflected in their  manicured rows, pesticide-free orchards and friendly service. They invite you to see and taste the difference of locally-grown berries for yourself!

Norrie is centered around a quiet 100-acre lake shared by fishermen and beach-goers alike. There is a boat ramp and public swimming beach outfitted with picnic tables, bathrooms, and grills. Adjacent to the beach is the  Mountain Bay Trail. Pack a cooler, swimsuit and fishing pole and make it a day at Norrie Lake!
